To celebrate the launch, we are proud to introduce the first three products in the RØDE X range: UNIFY, a powerful virtual mixing solution for streaming and gaming, the XDM-100 dynamic USB microphone and the XCM-50 condenser USB microphone.

UNIFY

UNIFY is a virtual audio mixing solution for streamers and gamers. It allows users to connect and control multiple sound sources, including microphones, chat audio, game audio, music and system audio in one intuitive software interface, with flexible routing and mixing capabilities, advanced APHEX audio processing and voice FX, multitrack recording, and more. It is the most powerful software of its kind and is incredibly easy to use. 

UNIFY comes free with all RØDE X microphones, including the XCM-50 and XDM-100. Together they offer a complete audio solution for streaming and gaming.

UNIFY is also compatible with existing RØDE products, and will be available via a paid subscription, inviting users into the RØDE X ecosystem. However, advanced audio processing is only available when using UNIFY with a RØDE X product, as this relies on powerful internal DSP built into these X microphones; only basic processing is available when using the software with other devices. This is a significant value-add for RØDE X microphones, giving them an edge over competitor products. 

XDM-100

The XDM-100 is a professional dynamic USB microphone optimised for streaming and gaming. It delivers rich broadcast sound with superior room noise rejection, and features premium circuitry, including an ultra-low-noise, high-gain Revolution Preamp, and a zero-latency headphone output with level control and mute functionality. It also comes with a high-quality pop filter and shock mount. 

Importantly, the XDM-100 is fully compatible with UNIFY, which unlocks advanced APHEX audio processing, powered by internal DSP.

XCM-50

The XCM-50 is a professional condenser USB microphone optimised for streaming and gaming. It delivers highly detailed audio, with a tight cardioid polar pattern tuned for speech applications, and a zero-latency headphone output with level control and mute functionality. It also features a 360-degree swing mount for easy positioning and comes with a tripod desktop mount. 

The XCM-50 is also fully compatible with UNIFY, which unlocks advanced APHEX audio processing, powered by internal DSP, like the XDM-100.
