The AL-SU20KAP is a high-end DLP laser projector from Appotronics and #039; S Pro series, designed to deliver cinema-level color performance thanks to its patented ALPD 5.0 RGBX full spectrum laser engine, capable of fully covering the DCI-P3 and Rec. 2020 color spaces, while competing solutions use a single blue laser with phosphors and only reach the Rec. 709 color space. The and #34;X and #34; indicates an additional component that Appotronics integrates to further broaden the light spectrum: it may include elements such as phosphors or LEDs and is part of the company and #039;s proprietary know-how. The triple-laser source minimizes speckle, broadens the light spectrum, and guarantees significantly superior color fidelity compared to single-laser architectures, offering more saturated colors, a particularly rich red (min. 22%), and ideal visual performance for creative content with high color sensitivity.

The projector uses a 0.8 and #34; DLP chip with WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution and a center brightness of 20,000 - 21,000 lumens, ensuring extremely bright, sharp and fringing-free images. The high contrast ratio (min. 100,000:1) and HDR10 support with Adaptive HDR allow for intelligent management of light and shadow, maintaining detail in highlights and deep blacks.

The AL-SU20KAP offers a compact design for its class, operation in any orientation, and a range of optional lenses cover throw ratios from 1.1 - 1.5:1, 1.5 - 2.4:1, and 2.4 - 3.8:1, with additional lenses available upon request. Integrated geometric corrections include keystone, curved surfaces, and a multi-point grid of up to 33 x 33 dots, making the projector suitable for irregular surfaces and complex installations.

For reliability, the S Pro Series uses a fully sealed engine with IP5X certification, a patented color wheel cooling system and a laser source with a lifespan of over 20,000 hours. Light source and input signal backups ensure operational continuity even in mission-critical applications, while the APCS platform enables remote monitoring, control, and advanced diagnostics.
