Improved operational efficiency, native vertical shooting, and an expanded accessory ecosystem make the DJI RS 4 Pro a powerful tool for mirrorless camera photographers.

The gimbal weighs just 2.74 lb/ 1.24 kg and has a 10 lb/ 4.5 kg load capacity to support your compact camera.

Teflon-coated axes reduce friction for smoother balancing and operation.

Other intuitive features include a fine-tuning knob, an auto-locking OLED screen, and an RSA communication port for using additional accessories.

Second-generation quick-release plate design

With the familiar dual-layer quick-release plates of its predecessor, the RS 4 makes mounting and balancing your camera a breeze.

The horizontal plate has been redesigned from the ground up to switch to native vertical shooting more quickly.

A fine adjustment knob adjusts the tilt axis to move the camera forward or backward.

The top plate features added positioning guides for secure camera mounting.

Second-generation automatic axis lock

When the gimbal is off, you can hold down the power button and the three axes will unlock as the gimbal automatically expands, allowing you to start working in just two seconds.

A single press of the power button automatically locks the axes and goes into rest mode, making moving or storing much more efficient.

The second iteration of this design has created smaller gaps when locked to further reduce gimbal vibration.

RSA communication port

The RSA communication port allows you to integrate Ronin series accessories into your gimbal setup.

Add Ronin-specific or third-party accessories with control capabilities to switch between different shooting setups.

The DJI RS SDK will enable third-party manufacturers and other developers to create future custom features for the RS 4.

Wireless Shutter Control

With the implementation of Dual-Mode Bluetooth, the RS 4 Pro supports wireless shutter control, saving time and effort with every use.

After the initial Bluetooth pairing, you can control video and photo recording simply by pressing the record button on the gimbal.

Previously paired cameras can automatically reconnect after the first use, eliminating the need for a camera control cable.

Updated ActiveTrack Pro

Tracking on the Ronin series has never been more precise and responsive.

The next generation of ActiveTrack Pro can directly read images from the Focus Pro LiDAR Autofocus's built-in camera, without the need for the Ronin Image Transmitter.

When using ActiveTrack Pro, you can directly track or frame your subject on the RS 4 Pro's OLED touchscreen.

The new optional LiDAR unit can project 76,800 detection points in a 20-meter area.

Fourth-generation RS stabilization algorithm

Equipped with a next-generation stabilization algorithm, the RS 4 Pro offers greater stability than the RS 3, effortlessly handling vertical shots, fast movements and low-angle shots.

Motor torque on all three axes has been increased by 20% for more power.

Auto-locking OLED screen

The RS 4 Pro features a fixed OLED touchscreen with a new auto-lock function.

Once locked, the screen will display the current gimbal and joystick movements in low brightness to prevent accidental switching and save battery power.

Enhanced Battery and Fast Charging

The RS 4 Pro's battery grip features a cartridge design for easy battery replacement and is smaller for storage.

It can also be charged separately from the gimbal.

The new battery grip offers extended battery life of up to 13 hours, enough for all-day shooting.

It supports 18W PD fast charging with a charging time of just 1.5 hours.

It can also be used while charging to keep the RS 4 Pro powered almost indefinitely.
