SOUNDBOKS Batteryboks

SOUNDBOKS BATTERYBOKS is the interchangeable replacement battery for all speakers in the SOUNDBOKS catalogue: GO and 4. For intensive use, professionals, venues and events it is always good to have an extra battery on hand in case of need. It can be replaced in a flash. 40 hours playback time at medium volume, 5-10 hours at maximum volume depending on the model.

The BATTERYBOKS is a 12.8V lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery. These batteries are known for their long life, thermal stability and safety, especially compared to other types of lithium-ion batteries. The internal and external components can handle temperatures from -10 to +40 °C (+14 to +104 °F), allowing you to use your SOUNDBOKS in practically any climate.

With an ingenious coupling system developed by the manufacturer itself, the BATTERYBOKS fits perfectly into the dedicated slot in your speaker. The cable is external and the 'barrel'-shaped battery attachment plugs into the battery for a convenient and secure connection.

The BATTERYBOKS with all SOUNDBOKS provides an operating time of about 40 hours at medium volume when switched off. When used at maximum volume, the runtime drops to about 6 hours with the Soundboks 4, 10 hours with the Soundboks GO, about 5 hours with the SOUNDBOKS 3 and 8 hours with the 2nd generation SOUNDBOKS. NB: The duration also depends on the amount of low frequencies reproduced and the use of the DSP.

Although not recommended by the manufacturer, it is possible to plug the charger into the SOUNDBOKS while a battery is inserted. The SOUNDBOKS is in fact designed for battery operation. For a longer battery life, the manufacturer suggests disconnecting the battery when it is fully charged.

Autonomy always under control! Press the button on the top of the battery to display the illumination of the five LEDs that will indicate the amount of charge. While charging, the LEDs will indicate how long it is until fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours.
