Our Kelly SHU Composite™ mounts are incredibly strong and durable, made using high-density reinforced compounds infused with 30% fiberglass fibers which are injection molded under thousands of pounds of pressure. This material is very strong and durable and the mounting unit is reinforced at various stress points throughout its design. The Kelly SHU™ microphone mounting unit accepts any standard kick drum or tom drum microphone* that has a threaded base or uses a mic clip.
The system comes with everything needed to install this ultimate microphone holder for drums. All the installation components that ship with the Composite™ series mounts are the same as is included with our Kelly SHU Pro™ Systems. The System requires NO DRILLING for installation.
The Kelly SHU Composite™ series also gives you your choice of our exclusive internal OR external installation options. Complete instructions for both options are included with each Kelly SHU™ shockmount system.
*Older Shure BETA 52 microphones may not be compatible with this system. The Kelly SHU was designed to be compatible with newer Shure BETA 52A and BETA 56A microphones
