The Shure MoveMic 88+ Receiver Kit includes the MoveMic 88+ W wireless microphone (click here for all the information) and the Shure MOVEMIC RECEIVER (click here for details): the dedicated receiver for MoveMic microphones that can be installed on a camera. Compatibility also extended to PC/Mac via USB, offering pro stereo audio, advanced DSP and 8 hours of battery life.

Shure MoveMic 88+ is a compact wireless stereo microphone with four polar patterns selectable via app, ideal for content creators, journalists, videographers and musicians. Totally wireless, it connects directly to iOS and Android smartphones via the Shure MOTIV Video and MOTIV Audio apps, with no receiver needed.

By configuring the microphone in stereo mode, you can set the width of the shot as you like, with an adjustable range from 60° to 135°. Alternatively, you can opt for a cardioid mono, bi-directional pattern or a raw mid-side configuration to be processed with the appropriate matrix in your audio recording and editing software. The customizable DSP allows you to control parameters such as gain, compression, equalization, high-pass filter and noise reduction to achieve professional sound in any situation.

An always-on limiter prevents distortion and clipping should high intensity sounds occur that could compromise the recording, while five preset presets (speech, sung, flat, acoustic, and rock concert) allow you to start recording on the fly, without having to worry about any configuration. Furthermore, you can save your personalized settings within the Shure MOTIV app, to recall them immediately when needed.

With a battery life of 8 hours of continuous use, the Shure MoveMic 88+ is the perfect microphone for interviews, field reports, podcasts and music recordings. The MoveMic Receiver Kit (sold separately) expands the compatibility of the microphone by allowing it to be used with cameras, computers and third-party apps.

Simply pair the MoveMic 88+ with the MOTIV Video or MOTIV Audio app to immediately start recording in professional quality. Make the most of the freedom offered by wireless with a range of up to 30 meters. Just remember that the MoveMic 88+ performs best with a clear line of sight.

A mini-jack (3.5 mm) headphone output allows you to monitor audio before recording, giving you the opportunity to check the settings, the environment and the source you are about to capture. You can adjust the headphone monitoring volume via the MOTIV apps or in the MoveMic Receiver (not included).

Automatic reconnection to the previously used device allows for a true “turn on, open the app and record” experience. Without having to pair the microphone with the device each time. The microphone is built using robust materials, with a zinc alloy body with a black chrome finish to offer maximum strength and durability.
