Showtec TR-512 Pocket

The Showtec TR-512 Pocket is a compact DMX Recorder/Playback unit that can trigger your light show in an uncomplicated way. Thanks to the latest software update, a new Idle Playback Mode opens up new possibilities.

The TR-512 Pocket can record and playback several shows, which are stored on the included micro-SD card. The card is big enough to hold shows lasting 24 hours. Each show can be played in loop mode or single play. An auto start on power-up or delayed start can be set. There are 6 GPIO pins available to start or stop your shows using external triggers, like regular switches, relays, motion detection sensors, et cetera.

The new Idle Playback Mode adds a Show mode and a Passthru mode to the default Scene mode. Scene mode is perfect for a static state between active shows. When no file is selected, it uses a default blackout with all channels set to zero. Show mode will loop a selected show, which is useful for providing ongoing entertainment or background effects in the absence of triggered events. Passthru mode makes it possible to pass a DMX signal received from another source through to a connected lighting setup via the TR-512 and #x27;s DMX input and output.

Bidirectional communication with the dedicated Wall Panel Remote for TR-512 (order codes 50827, 50828) can be set up via the RJ45 terminal using regular CAT5 cable. The TR-512 Pocket is the right product for triggering your shows or scenes in theme parks, museums, shops, and other system integration projects.

Please note that this TR-512 Pocket is NOT suitable for the TR-512 Wallpanel (order code 50824).
