Desktop power rack

Following the criteria established by Radial Workhorse, Cube is 100 percent backward compatible with older API modules, and is optimized to accommodate preamplifiers, processors, and routing devices made by Radial. It is constructed of 14-gauge steel with 15-pin EDAC connectors with dual gold-plated contacts for optimal signal transfer. To maximize headroom, the external power supply provides 500 mA of current for modules that require more power, while 48V phantom power is separate and provides 10 mA of current for mic preamps. Rear panel connectivity includes standard XLR for each Slot along with ¼ TRS connectors for multiple modules, cross patching and parallel processing. Instead of the traditional 'hardwire patch' system used by other similari products, Cube adopts an innovative power supply mode that connects modules in series without the need for cables; in addition, stereo modules no longer need to be soldered together to be matched, now they can be linked together by a simple switch. Cube also features Omniport on each Slot, this TRS jack allows each manufacturer to implement a specific function for any given module.

Applications of Cube

You can compose the ideal channel strip

You can create an ideal channel strip by combining your favorite suitable modules such as mic preamp, equalizer and dynamic processor. Radial PowerPre enables great clarity on the mic signal, The Q3 equalizer for color and Komit for dynamics control.

The perfect front-end for electric guitar

Record your guitar and bass directly using the JDV-Pre. Send the recorded track back to the EXTC so you can add effects pedals and then process the return signal through the JDX to emulate a Marshall 4x12 half stack.

Reamp for the final tone

With this configuration you can send a prerecorded Clean guitar track into the Radial X-Amp and then to amplifiers with ample Reamp possibilities! Instead, by sending the signal through the EXTC you can add effects pedals or a fantastic Vintage spring reverb using Radial Tank Driver.
