The 8361 is the new 'flagship' of The Ones series, the revolutionary coaxial point source monitors, and offers extremely high dynamic range, unprecedented directivity, and an SPL (short term) of 118 dB, enabling an absolute level monitoring experience. Features of the 8361s include two new retractable woofers-generating high SPL output with extremely low distortion-and a new coaxial midrange and tweeter component that provides perfect control over directivity, low distortion, high SPL values, and an extended frequency response up to 43 kHz. The MDE (Mininum Diffraction Enclosure) type chassis reduces any off-axis coloration, and the entire front panel acts like a large waveguide, thus providing an incredibly wide and detailed sweetspot. Like all models in The Ones series, the precision of the 8361s helps you make recording and mixing decisions more confidently and quickly, making even the longest sessions less tiring - this is because the main cause of listening stress, namely an unnatural sound image, is minimized. Used in conjunction with the GLM calibration kit, the 8361s will adapt to one's acoustic space - compensating for any negative room influences and helping to produce mixes that "translate" to perfection, from stereo to complex immersive formats.
