Soundcraft EPM6

The Soundcraft EPM 6 is an extremely affordable, multipurpose mixer designed for small live music venues, recording studios, places of worship, and commercial installations. Soundcraft has paid particular attention to the quality of the components to ensure the best possible audio performance and an extremely intuitive user experience. The internal circuitry features surface-mount technology with high-precision components, allowing for extremely accurate EQ and gain adjustments. The GB30 mic preamps (designed by Graham Blyth to mark the company's 30th anniversary, and already featured in the LX7II and GB series consoles) offer high-resolution adjustments across a dynamic range of 55 dB, providing an impressive +22 dB of headroom. A unique feature of the console is the PEAK LED for signal monitoring; this indicator tracks any overloads measured at various points in the channel chain, glowing brighter and brighter as the signal approaches the peak value. The monitor and headphone outputs operate in parallel, allowing simultaneous listening for the artist (via headphones) and the engineer (via studio monitors).
