Radial Engineering Highline Stereo

Radial Engineering's Highline Stereo is a passiveStereo line isolator designed to connect guitars and amp modelers to PA systems without coloration, noise or distortion. A Jensen transformer provides isolation to protect equipment from phantom power while offering linear frequency response from 10Hz to over 70kHz. Thanks to its construction with a steel enclosure and quality components Highline Stereo can handle the most demanding tours always with great reliability.

Notable features

  • Two-channel isolator with stereo thru outputs
  • No loss of signal strength or timbre when connecting to mixers
  • High reliability and Radial build quality
  • Jensen transformer with precision windings
  • XLR and Thru Sum options for added versatility

Highline Stereo is a passive line isolator that offers the ultimate solution for musicians who use amp simulators on their pedalboards. Equipped with high-quality Jensen transformers, Highline Stereo is a device that ensures signal cleanliness and clarity, eliminating hum and noise with superior isolation, and provides balanced output for long cable connections without degradation. Compact and suitable for installation in pedalboards, Highline Stereo offers complete integration these equipment and great reliability on stage and in the studio.

Protect Your Sound

Highline Stereo is a line isolator designed specifically to meet the needs of instrumentalists using amp simulators, enabling them to connect seamlessly to a PA or recording system while maintaining full signal integrity without additional noise or distortion. Highline Stereo features superior Jensen 1:1 transformers that maintain the full volume level from the pedalboard to the PA, while providing galvanic isolation that eliminates ground loop noise for a clean, noise-free signal. Highline Stereo Stereo's balanced outputs allow long cable runs to the PA while also blocking phantom power so it can never reach the pedalboard. Highline Stereo Stereo can be easily reconfigured for multiple summing configurations; two switches allow connection to the PA or stage monitors in stereo or mono.

Designed for Amp Modelers

Guitarists and bassists who use amp modelers on their pedalboard can run into a number of problems. Although amps have line-level outputs, they often use unbalanced 1/4 connectors that do not support long runs of cable without degrading the timbre of the instrument, and they are also particularly susceptible to noise from ground loops by connecting them directly to the PA. Highline Stereo Stereo solves these problems by inserting a 1:1 transformer into the signal path that isolates Setup, reducing noise, protecting it from phantom power, and keeping the signal at line level.

Applications of Highline Stereo

Connect your amp simulator to the PA

Highline Stereo can send your guitar amp simulator signal directly to the PA, maintaining signal level and sound quality. The internal transformer provides isolation to reduce noise and protects equipment from accidentally turning on phantom power.

Summing the signal of a stereo amplifier to mono

Highline Stereo can also be configured to accept a stereo signal and sum both channels to the XLR output, so you don't have to reconfigure any presets when PA channel space is limited. Just plug in the summing switch to use the Thru jack as a second input.

Use the Thru for local monitoring

When using a mono source device with Highline, you can connect the Thru output to a stage amplifier for local monitoring, while the XLR output feeds the PA system.
