Radial Engineering SGI TX Stereo

Radial SGI Stereo TX is a stereo line transmission unit designed to send balanced instrumental signals over distances up to 100 meters via common CAT5 cable, without loss of quality or increase in noise. With two independent paths with Class A circuits and isolated Jensen transformers, this stereo system is ideal for multichannel, studio and live applications. It preserves the natural timbre of instruments and offers great versatility in the most complex musical setups.

Key Features

  • Active stereo transmitter with two independent channels
  • Low-noise ClassA audio circuits
  • Balanced transmission over XLR up to 100 m
  • Drag control for each channel to optimize pickup load
  • Ground Lift to eliminate hum and ground loops
  • Power status LEDs
  • Radial rugged construction designed for professional use
  • Ideal for guitar, bass, stereo instruments, multi-output systems

Radial SGI Stereo TX introduces dual-channel management for stereo signals, ideal for professional studio and live applications. It allows HiZ instrumental signals to be transmitted over long distances (up to 100 m) while maintaining tonal integrity, dynamics and natural instrument response, thanks to Class A audio architecture, high-performance drivers and isolation via Jensen transformers. Compatibility with 9-15 V power supply makes it perfect for integration into existing pedalboards or professional systems.

Applications

  • Stereo transmission over long distances in studio and live performance
  • Connecting between pedalboards and remote amplifiers
  • Stereo setup for guitar, synth, multiFX and outboard systems
  • Use in control room, stage, broadcast, and professional installations

Using SGI TX Stereo in the studio

SGI TX Stereo is the ideal interface for professional recording sessions. It allows you to play from the control room while hearing exactly what comes out of your monitors, without loss of detail or dynamics. Connect your guitar or pedalboard to the TX module's two instrument inputs, send the signal to the RX module via a simple Cat5 Ethernet cable, and play freely, even at high volumes.

UsingSGI TX Stereo on Stage

On large stages, high impedance guitar signals can degrade due to the capacitance of long cables or noise generated by lighting rigs. SGI TX Stereo solves these problems by balancing the signal coming from the pedalboard and returning it clean and noise-free. It is perfect for isolated booths, amplifiers placed under the stage or remote rooms dedicated to silent stage setups.

A solution for complex routing

The SGI Stereo system is an extremely useful device for handling complex live setups. You can, for example, use a traditional SGI to carry the signal from a wireless receiver to the pedalboard, then employ a pair of SGI Stereo to send the pedalboard's stereo output to remote amplifiers, maintaining a stable, silent signal up to 100 meters (300 ft) away.
