DJI Avata 2

The DJI Avata 2 FPV drone offers both beginners and experienced pilots a smooth introduction to FPV flying and creating immersive content.

The compact drone is designed for fast flying at low altitudes and in confined spaces.

This type of movement is further enhanced by the new addition of acrobatic manoeuvres with just the push of a button.

While in flight, the gimbal can capture 12 MP still images and vivid 4K HDR videos with normal to ultra-wide 155° fields of view.

To do this safely, DJI has equipped the Avata 2 with integrated propeller protection and a new binocular fisheye vision system.

Professional images

Equipped with a 1/1.3-inch image sensor, the Avata 2 offers effective low-light performance, capturing photos up to 12 MP and videos with HDR resolution up to 4K.

Choose from three different fields of view to suit your specific project and piloting style: normal angle, wide angle and 155° ultra-wide angle.

Professionals can take advantage of 10-bit D-Log M support, which retains more highlights and details for more flexibility during colour grading.

Stabilised shots

Stable shots from a fast-flying FPV drone like the Avata 2 are almost impossible to achieve, which is why DJI has integrated RockSteady and HorizonSteady features.

RockSteady is designed for pure stabilisation to compensate for high speeds and windy conditions.

HorizonSteady is more specialised stabilisation, locking on the horizon during horizontal rotation up to 360°.

O4 Long Range Transmission

Control the drone and view a video feed from a greater distance with this second-generation Avata.

With the DJI O4 transmission system, the Avata 2 can transmit signals up to 13 km away.

Video feeds are up to 1080p/100 resolution, up to 60 Mb/s bitrate, and have a response time of just 24 ms.

To achieve this range, the Avata 2 has been upgraded with a 2T4R (2 transmitter/4 receiver) configuration that uses an array of 4 antennas and powerful anti-interference.

Flying safer

Upgrade from the Avata with a single downward-facing sensor: the Avata 2 now features binocular fisheye sensors for visual positioning downwards and backwards.

Other safety features include integrated propeller protection and automatic return to take-off position in the event of signal loss or a low battery.

Stunts at the push of a button

Get creative with your aerial shots by using the Avata 2's stunt features with the push of a single button to perform complex stunts with ease.

- One-button inversion: perform 360° turns forward or backward

- One-button rolling: perform 360° turns left or right

- One-button drifting: perform 180° lateral drifts to pass objects at high speed, then quickly move away for an interesting effect

Works with LightCut

Officially supported by DJI for use with Avata 2, the LightCut app for iOS and Android devices gives you convenient one-tap visual effects without downloading any videos.

The technology, based on artificial intelligence, analyses the flight path in the video and allows you to use the Sky VFX function to add overlays, text animations in the air and more.

What's more, the one-touch editing feature uses AI recognition of video type and subject matter to intelligently add sound effects, perform colour restoration and more. This gives you professionally edited final cuts for faster sharing online.

Turtle Mode

If Avata 2 accidentally falls over, you can use Turtle Mode to automatically return it to the starting position and quickly get it back in the air.
