The service that hearing care professionals perform are simply taking silicone ear imprints of the client's inner ear.
These silicone ear molds are then sent to us together with the order form, which is available for download on the product page. These impressions are scanned in the Fischer-Amps laboratory through a 3D process and used as basis for the earpieces, which are printed out from a 3D printer. Some hearing care professionals also have the option of scanning the silicone impressions themselves and providing us with the files in .stl format.
No standard headphones are installed in Fischer Amps Custom headphones. The miniature speakers and the other electronics are built into the custom-made earpiece.
