Lindy's line of hybrid fiber-optic HDMI cables offers a highly professional solution for extending HDMI signals over long distances. By combining the flexibility and high resistance to EMI and RFI of fiber-optic cables with standard copper cables, these hybrid cables are ideal for use in critical AV setups, commercial displays, or high-performance residential installations.

The integrated technology provides uncompressed amplification of the HDMI signal, enabling long-distance extension of 8K HDMI content that would otherwise not be possible with passive cables.

With a bandwidth of 48 Gbps, these cables support 2.1 resolutions up to 3840x2160@120Hz and 7680x4320 / 10240x4320@60Hz. Video streams can be played back with incredible detail and clarity at higher refresh rates, for an optimized viewing experience of movies, graphics, and images.

In addition to static HDR, HDMI hybrid cables also offer additional support for dynamic HDR formats such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+. As a result, every moment of the imagery-scene by scene or even frame by frame-features a much wider color gamut made possible by the BT.2020 color space, higher peak brightness, and deep blacks for optimal contrast, as well as greater color depth. eARC support further simplifies connectivity with compatible audio systems, amplifiers, and soundbars, transmitting lossless audio from the source to the connected output via the cable. eARC also supports high audio bitrates with a sampling rate of up to 192 kHz and up to 32 channels.
