Interface for transmitting 8 analog mic/line channels over a digital line. This expander can therefore be connected to the BLU-Link network via CAT5e cable for a maximum distance of 100m, or via single-mode fiber optic cable through the MC-1 media converter, to reach distances of over 10km. Selecting the 8 output channels is easily accomplished by configuring 6 rear DIP switches, which are used to select one of 32 groups of contiguous 8-channel BLU-Link groups (the BLU-Link supports bidirectional transmission of 256 audio channels).
