Bss BLU-120

The Soundweb London BLU-120 features configurable audio inputs/outputs and a BLULink connection, BSS's new fault-tolerant, wideband digital audio bus. The BLU-120 is programmable using the HiQnet London Architect management software. A rich selection of logic blocks, which can be used with simple "drag-and-drop" functionality, makes programming extremely simple and intuitive. The processor features the new low-latency, fault-tolerant BLU-Link digital bus, capable of transmitting up to 256 audio channels over a standard CAT5e cable run, for distances of up to 100 meters. Fiber-optic converters can be used to extend the link to over 40 km. Four slots can accommodate Analog Input, Analog Output, Digital Input, and Digital Output cards, each with four on-board channels, for maximum flexibility in I/O configuration. The Analog Input cards feature software-adjustable gain in 6 dB steps up to +48 dB per channel, with individually switchable phantom power. The Digital Input and Digital Output cards process AES/EBU and/or S/PDIF audio in various clock and sync configurations. Information regarding phantom power activation, sync status, signal presence, and any clipping is readily available on the front panel-without the need for a control PC-thanks to a comprehensive set of LED indicators. Other data, such as the device name, type, firmware version, time, IP address, and subnet mask, are shown on the backlit front display. A bidirectional "Locate" button allows for easy identification of the processor within a complex Soundweb network. On the rear panel, there are 12 control inputs and 6 logic output ports for connecting the BLU-120 to GPIO systems. Extensive documentation is available for integrating the device into a broader control system (Crestron, AMX, etc.). - Configurable inputs and outputs thanks to four slots for inserting input or output cards (four channels each) - Card with four analog inputs (gain from 0 dB to +48 dB in 6 dB steps, 48 V phantom power selectable separately on each input) - Four-channel analog output cards (max output level 19 dBu, dynamic range 108 dB) - Four-channel digital input cards (AES/EBU and S/PDIF, sample rate 48 k/96 kHz, THD+N -140 dB) - Four-channel digital output card (AES/EBU and S/PDIF, sample rate 48 kHz/96 kHz, THD+N -140 dB) - I/O connections via Euroblock - Complete set of logic blocks - BLU-Link connection (256 digital channels, low latency, fault-tolerant) - Clear front-panel LED indicators, backlit display - Bidirectional Locate button - 12 Control Inputs (0 to 4.5 V) and 6 Logic Output ports (0/+5 V) for GPIO integration - Complete documentation?Soundweb London Interface Kit? for integration with third-party control systems - Configuration, control, and monitoring via HiQnet London Architect software
