Type 590 consists of a tough and tear proof LD-PVC-foil, on one side coated with an aggressive, ageing resistant natural rubber adhesive. Type 590 is waterproof and resistant to cold, moisture, oils, bases, acids and many other chemicals. It has a VDE-permission and is flame retardant.

Type 590 is used for bundling, repairing and marking of cables as well as for fixing of cables and other materials on trusses, stages, etc.
