The E-Pak compact full duplex transceiver provides simultaneous hands-free communications and also includes a second RF module that allows the use of lightweight wireless headphones. Each digital transceiver is lightweight and weighs only 2.5 ounces/0.70 g so and can be worn or slipped into a pocket or clipped onto a belt. The Bodypack transmits information via Bluetooth to the Lazer Pro headphones, which, unlike traditional headphones, transfer audio via bone conduction, which means that signals are received as vibrations through the skin leaving the ears free. To operate, simply insert a charged lithium-polymer battery (included), turn on the units and pair them with the headphones. All radios in a system automatically connect providing an open line conversation pattern for up to nine users within a 400-yard radius./370 m. Frequency hopping is the name of the wireless protocol used by all E-Pak systems to avoid or circumvent interference. Multiple E-Pak systems can easily work in harmony at the same location and do not interfere with other wireless equipment.
