The Neumann KH 350 is a DSP-controlled, three-way active studio monitor designed for midfield listening. It fits into the Neumann lineup between the KH 310 II and the KH 420, offering greater low-frequency extension and higher sound pressure level than the near-field model, in a horizontal format suitable for medium-sized control rooms. It is designed for music production, broadcast, post-production, and immersive formats. The system features a 210 mm (8¼-inch) woofer, a 75 mm (3-inch) magnetically shielded midrange driver, and a 25 mm (1-inch) tweeter, with crossover frequencies at 700 Hz and 1,700 Hz and slopes of 24 dB/octave. Three dedicated amplifiers deliver 300 W to the woofer, 160 W to the midrange, and 125 W to the tweeter. The frequency response is 32 Hz-20 kHz within ±1.25 dB, extended to 27 Hz-21 kHz within ±6 dB, while the maximum sound pressure level reaches 122.6 dB at 1 m. The KH 350 features a balanced XLR analog input and an AES3id digital input/output via 75-ohm BNC connectors. The integrated DSP supports the MA 1 automatic alignment system, which adapts the monitor's response to the room's acoustics. The recommended listening distance is between 1.2 and 3 meters. The cabinet combines a composite polycarbonate front panel with a wooden enclosure; it measures 545 x 280 x 363 mm and weighs 20 kg, in an anthracite finish. Neumann offers a range of dedicated accessories, including the GKH 350 front grille, brackets, and mounting plates.
