Canon is pleased to announce the EOS R5 C, a professional hybrid cinema camera that combines the creative advantages of the Cinema EOS and EOS R systems in a single camera. The smallest camera in the Cinema EOS family, it sits below the EOS C70 in the Cinema EOS range and alongside the EOS R5. It's perfect for using the RF 5.2mm F2.8L Dual Fisheye lens thanks to its 8K resolution and long recording time. Shoot cinematic-quality 8K video up to 30 fps (or 60 fps with an external power supply), oversampled 4K and Full HD video, as well as stunning 45-megapixel photos at up to 20 fps. It's a video-centric hybrid solution that gives filmmakers the perfect tool to ensure they're ready for anything.

Cinematic full-frame 8K video

Shoot cinematic-quality 8K video at up to 30 fps (or 60 fps with an external power supply), or oversampled 4K and Full HD video. With the EOS R5 C you can also create eye-catching slow-motion content in 4K quality at up to 120 fps.

Stunning 45-megapixel photos at up to 20 fps

Thanks to the 45-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, you can create content with incredible quality, low noise and a wide dynamic range with a maximum shooting speed of up to 20 fps and ISO sensitivity up to ISO 51,200. Automatic exposure bracketing offers consistent exposure options and an interval timer allows you to create creative timelapses.

Wide choice of lenses

Equipped with Canon's revolutionary RF mount technology, the EOS R5 C is compatible with RF lenses that offer state-of-the-art AF and stabilization, as well as EF lenses via EF-EOS R adapters. Support for anamorphic lenses is provided with 2x, 1.8x and 1.3x de-squeezing options. The advanced 5-axis electronic IS works seamlessly with or independently of the optical IS in the lenses to achieve stable, smooth footage.

Fast, accurate and reliable focusing

The EOS R5 C features Canon's innovative Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology with Eye AF and EOS ITR AF X for accurate and reliable face/head/eye tracking, even when the subject turns. Canon's innovative Dual Pixel Focus Guide provides a valuable visual aid for taking razor-sharp manual focus shots.

Wide formats and professional recording tools

You can choose from a variety of internal recording formats, including three Cinema RAW Light (LT / ST / HQ) options, XF-AVC, MP4 and even RAW output via HDMI. Make the most of an incredible dynamic range with Canon Log 3, PQ and HLG recording, with professional tools such as Waveform Monitor and False Color.

Lightweight and compact design with active cooling

The EOS R5 C is a lightweight and compact Cinema EOS camera. It features a high-resolution OLED viewfinder, a bright 3.2” articulated LCD monitor and 13 user-customizable buttons. A new active cooling system allows for long recording times, while the magnesium alloy body guarantees professional durability.

High connectivity

With Wi-Fi1, Bluetooth® and a multi-function accessory shoe2, plus dedicated terminals for timecode, 3.5mm microphone, headphones, micro-HDMI, flash sync and USB-C, the EOS R5 C is ready for anything. It also offers a wide range of photo and video software applications, such as image.canon, Content Transfer Mobile, Browser Remote and much more.
