Designed for professional content creators who need strong still images, sophisticated video options and live streaming capabilities, the second-generation Panasonic Lumix S5 IIX mirrorless camera is equipped with a range of new features to bring your vision to life.

Benefiting from a new sensor design and an updated processing engine with L2 technology, S5 IIX is the first Lumix camera to offer Phase Hybrid AF for fast and accurate autofocus performance. Taking full advantage of the 24.2 MP sensor and the enhanced processor, this camera records 6K video for up to 30 minutes, and unlimited 4K video capture is also available.

Optimized for video, the S5 IIX also features a new Active I.S. system, which supports handheld shooting to further improve image stabilization during video recording.

Unique to the advanced S5 IIX, this model is preloaded with sophisticated video features for the benefit of the professional user.

These include HDMI RAW video data output, USB-SSD recording, ALL-Intra recording and ProRes recording. Live streaming functionality is also standard and the S5 IIX offers wireless IP streaming, USB tethering for smartphones and wired IP streaming.

In addition, this camera is the first Lumix camera to feature a sleek and discreet all-black design.

Panasonic Lumix S 20-60mm f/3.5-5.6 lens

The Panasonic Lumix S 20-60mm f/3.5-5.6 is an elegant and versatile lens designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras with an L-mount.

The distinct focal length range is also complemented by flexible focusing capabilities, allowing you to work with subjects as large as 5.9” with a 0.43x magnification for near-macro performance.

In terms of optics, the lens incorporates a series of aspherical, high-refractive index and low-dispersion elements to control a variety of aberrations and achieve a high degree of clarity and sharpness.

A fluorine coating has been applied to the front element to reduce smudging and facilitate cleaning, and the lens also features a weather-resistant design for working in difficult environmental conditions. In addition, suitable for both photographic and video applications, there is a stepping motor, which offers fast, precise and almost silent autofocus performance.
