The 705i and 708i monitors are the first models in JBL's new 7 Series and are designed to meet the needs of multichannel monitoring in post-production control rooms, broadcast studios, and mobile setups. Building on the technologies developed for the flagship M2 Master Reference Monitor, the Series 7 monitors deliver a detailed soundstage, wide frequency response, and impressive output from a compact enclosure. With built-in amplification and tuning, and ease of installation, the 705i and 708i studio monitors form the heart of an elegant, modular system for broadcast and post-production in a variety of formats. Next-generation drivers: To meet the demands for dynamic range and extended frequency response in modern productions, the 7 Series utilizes JBL's new-generation "Super Drivers." The new 2409H high-frequency transducer incorporates an innovative, low-mass annular diaphragm that delivers a smooth response beyond 40 kHz with exceptional output and very low distortion. JBL has designed low-frequency transducers to deliver exceptional performance with the 7 Series. The new 5-inch 725G and 728G and 8-inch high-excursion drivers in the 705i and 708i models enable very high continuous output with minimal power compression and low-frequency response down to 30 Hz. INTEGRATION Modular and scalable based on the number of channels and control room size. The 7 Series studio monitors and the M2 Master Reference Monitor can be combined to create a wide range of systems.
