Focusrite ISA 428/828 A/D Card

Optional ADC card (-122dB A-weighted) with 8 Ch (up to 192kHz). AES, (both single and dual wire.) SPDIF, ADAT formats are supported, with sampling rate selectable from 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4 and 192kHz, (for ADAT over 48Khz, of course, via 2 ports), internal or external word clock and 256X clock, S/N Ratio better than 121dBfs 'Weighted-A'.

Connections are via 2 25-pin D-type connectors and standard lightpipe; for word clock there are BNC In and Out connectors. Depending on the selected sample rate, the following combinations of outputs can be used simultaneously:

NB: supports both AES single-wire and split-wire configurations; split wire of course, will reduce the maximum number of simultaneous outputs.

**The ADAT SMUXIV protocol supports sample rates above 96Khz: at 176.4 and 192Khz only channels 1 through 4 are available. Of course, the 8 line outputs can be used simultaneously with all ADAT AES and S/PDIF outputs
