Io. Core is a compact and versatile expansion module that is part of the Cue. Core family of solid-state lighting controllers. It is the ideal expansion for the Cue. Core in projects that require more IO. Furthermore, it is equally suitable for standalone IO interfacing or working in conjunction with any third-party control system in the entertainment world.

It allows interfacing between digital and analog inputs and outputs and supports various protocols such as DMX, RS-232, OSC, UDP and Art-Net. It has 8 inputs which can be individually configured as digital or analog. If Io. Core is set as a digital input, it allows for easy connection with physical switches and sensors, for example. When set to analogue it supports 0-10 V and 1-10 V inputs - ideal for connection to popular household dimmers.

The 8 outputs on Io. Core are relay switched and can handle 1 A of current. The digital outputs can be used to switch various other devices such as A/V equipment, roller shutters or relays. Furthermore, Io. Core is equipped with a DMX-512 port that can be configured as input or output and a bidirectional RS-232 port. Through its network port, Io. Core also supports OSC, UDP and Art-Net protocols which can be used for activation and conversion.
