When Chord Cruiser mode is activated, the exclusive algorithm selects and suggests various musically compatible chords from its database. You can listen to these chords and assign your favorite to the keyboard, automatically activating the next suggestion.

Playback direction function

Change the playback direction of 4×4 step sequenced patterns with a single button press.

Discover new phrases and rhythms with 4 options: right, down, clockwise, and counterclockwise. This feature unlocks new ideas, so you can create innovative chord progressions or explore rhythms by browsing different genres.

145 preset sounds + 16 percussion packs

Designed for a wide range of genres, you can bring new ideas to life during the creative process by drawing on 145 preset sounds and 16 percussion packs.

Adjust the preset sounds to your liking using a low-pass filter and amp envelope. These parameters can be automated on each pattern, allowing you to dynamically change the tone and progression of the chords. This enables you to create lively phrasing.

Key and scale settings

When you set the key and scale on Chordcat, only notes that belong to the selected key and scale are mapped to the keyboard.

The compatibility of the suggested chords in Chord Play mode or Chord Cruiser mode with the selected key and scale is indicated by LED lights. Perfect for both beginners and professional musicians.

Large workspace: 8 tracks, 16 patterns, and 128 steps (8 bars)

Intuitive and flexible workspace for your music production:

8 tracks: Play up to 8 different instruments or sounds simultaneously, such as drums, bass, and synthesizers, with independent control of each track. You can also adjust the track volume and pan to balance the left and right audio channels.

16 patterns: Create and save up to 16 unique phrases for each track and produce dynamic song arrangements. The Pattern Chain function also allows you to play patterns in the designated sequence for seamless transitions.

128 steps (8 beats): The precise arrangement of sounds within a 16-step (1 beat) x 8-page configuration allows you to create detailed sequences and timing for your compositions.
