Elektron Tonverk

Elektron TONVERK is designed for musicians, producers, and live performers who want total control over sampling, sequencing, and routing within a flexible and creative box. TONVERK offers eight stereo audio tracks, each of which is capable of switching between machine types, including single samples, multisampled instruments, and overlapping subtracks. You can create your own instruments using the Auto Sampler, or insert sounds via external or internal inputs using the Flute. Four additional bus tracks, three send effects tracks and a mix track offer in-depth routing options and FX control. The sequencer is built to inspire, with pattern lengths per track, polyphonic step editing, trig conditions and modulation lanes. As for performance, you'll find chords, scale and velocity modes, plus a responsive keyboard mode for fast composition. Add to that a wide selection of new and classic FX, powerful modulation sources, and a familiar Elektron layout, and TONVERK becomes a studio highlight or stage-ready sampler with room to grow. Multiple machines per track Each of TONVERK's eight audio tracks can load one of four machine types, allowing you to choose the right instrument for each part of your composition. Single Player mode allows you to play mono or stereo WAV files with control over loop points and playback behavior. Multi Player mode opens the door to multi-sampled, playable instruments with full polyphony and dynamic expression. Subtracks turn an audio track into eight separate monophonic layers, each with its own sequencer and parameters, ideal for creating complex drums or layered textures. You can also convert any track to a MIDI sequencer with 16-note-per-step polyphony and assignable CC control. This flexibility allows you to shape each track to suit the needs of the music, without being constrained to a single approach. Deep sampling and sound design tools Sampling is at the heart of TONVERK. Use the Recorder to sample audio directly from external inputs or internal sources. For more detailed instruments, the Auto Sampler uses MIDI to record a complete set of samples within the chosen Extension, turning your favorite synthesizer into a playable instrument. Each track has a digital filter, modulation envelope and multiple assignable LFOs. These can be mapped to pitch bend, aftertouch, mod wheel or breath control, offering expressive control for both studio and live use. You can route signals through the four bus tracks, the three send tracks and the mix track to apply FX or shape the sound path in detail. Use FX LFOs for time modulation or to shape transitions between scenes. TONVERK offers maximum freedom to decide how the audio moves and evolves within the system. Creative sequence built for control The sequencer supports up to 256 steps per pattern and track, with polyphonic sequencing, retrig, micro-timing and parameter locking. You can apply trig conditions and ability to create variations, switch to step editing for fine tuning, or use arpeggiators on both audio and MIDI tracks. Each track has its own pattern length and time scale multiplier, making it easy to create polyrhythms and complex arrangements. Chord Modes and keyboard modes help you experiment with harmony, and you can choose from 36 built-in scales for quick melodic input. With performance tools such as velocity layers, two trig modes, and song mode for structured arrangements, TONVERK is easily adapted to spontaneous jams and planned performances. Studio-ready sound and hardware TONVERK includes a wide range of high-quality effects, from traditional filters and reverbs to creative effects such as Warble, Frequency Warper and Saturator Delay. These vary according to track type and can be modeled using built-in modulation sources, including LFOs and dedicated envelopes. Effects can be applied to buses, sends or directly to individual audio paths. Built in a steel chassis, the unit features balanced audio inputs and outputs, USB-C connectivity, MIDI In/Out/Thru with DIN synchronization, and an SD schee slot. The OLED display makes everything clear and accessible. With 48 kHz and 24-bit converters, TONVERK ensures high-quality recording and playback on all sources. It is a powerful and expandable sampler and sequencer, ready for long-term use in any configuration.
