Dual-touch control and expressiveness The new touch pad introduces simultaneous control of multiple parameters using two fingers. This architecture allows you to combine filters, delays, reverbs, modulations, pitch and dynamic effects in real time, creating smooth and complex sound evolutions that react directly to your gesture. Generate continuously moving transitions, crescendos and effects during your live performances. Integration in the studio, on stage and in your live streams KAOSS PAD V enables simultaneous use of MIC, LINE and USB inputs, allowing you to combine vocals, instruments and audio from your computer in a single signal chain. The microphone preamplifier allows direct connection of dynamic microphones, while the Hi-Z input allows connection of guitar or bass without the need for external DI boxes. Ideal for hybrid setups, it allows a vocal, guitar or bass microphone and DAW source to be connected in one compact system, reducing complexity and wiring. Built-in USB audio interface The built-in USB audio interface allows you to record, process and transmit audio directly to computers and DAWs. KAOSS PAD V can be used as an audio interface for real-time recording, streaming, or signal routing. The new power circuit and upgraded audio path ensure stable, low-noise performance. It enables recording performances or live streams without additional audio interfaces, greatly simplifying setup. Next-generation Voice FX The new Voice FX engine, dedicated to voice processing, introduces harmonizations, vocoders, timbre transformations and pitch morphing that can be controlled in real time. The voice can also be used as a control source for external MIDI devices, expanding creative and performance possibilities. It allows a solo voice to be transformed into complex vocal arrangements or to control synths and MIDI modules through vocal performance. Guitar and bass effects The high-impedance input makes KAOSS PAD V a multi-effect for guitar and bass. You can explore ambient textures, rhythmic modulations, glitch effects, complex delays and reverberated soundscapes, all controllable via the touch pad. It allows you to use KAOSS PAD V as a creative effects processor for musical instruments, both in the studio and live, without traditional pedalboards. Sampling, looping and rhythm control Sampling and looping functions allow you to record up to 8 beats in tempo, overdub multiple layers and maintain loop position accuracy during playback. Step hold synchronized to BPM keeps material aligned to the groove, while playback and slicing modes encourage creative rework. Ideal for live remixes, rhythm pattern building, vocal or instrumental loops, and dynamic electronic performances. Historic KAOSS effects and customization KAOSS PAD V integrates an effects library that combines historic algorithms from previous KAOSS generations with new modern effects. The internal editor allows editing of programs, creation of custom variations, saving of user presets, and customization of pad behavior and LED colors. It allows you to create presets tailored to different live or studio contexts and quickly recall them during performance.
