Korg NutektNTS-1 MKII is a powerful handheld, programmable synth and signal processor with an 18-key multitouch (polyphonic) mini-keyboard and 8-step sequencer that also sends data to the MIDI OUT port. 1 VCO, 1 multimode filter, 1 EG and 3 LFOs. It is powered via USB, also from power bank. The instrument supplied in a do-it-yourself kit assembles quickly without soldering. Sound engine and processing open thanks to custom content produced by logueSDK developers: Sound, OSC and FX.

The compact and incredibly powerful NTS-1 in this MKII version comes with more features, a revamped user interface, and offers more customization options than its predecessor. A more powerful processor, a new keyboard - replacing the previous ribbon - a built-in step sequencer, new sounds and expanded MIDI capabilities are the hallmarks of the NTS-1 mkII. New Multi-Touch Keyboard

The NTS-1 mkII mounts a new 18-key multi-touch keyboard, replacing the first-generation tape controller, for precise playing and sequencing. This upgrade unlocks the ability to send polyphonic MIDI messages, then chords, thus opening the door to custom oscillators and effects by taking full advantage of the paraphonic potential.

Play, Record, Play

In addition to a powerful arpeggiator, the new 8-step sequencer increases musical possibilities. With live and step recording modes (with adjustable gate and velocity for each note) combined with the new keyboard and easy octave switching, Korg Nutket NTS-1 mkII provides an intuitive user experience during performance. The new autosave function recalls all the parameters used in your last performance, including sequencer data, so you can pick up exactly where you left off. But that's not all! The NTS-1 mkII handheld synth has a MIDI OUT to give you a way to use its internal sequencer in order to play other instruments in your setup.

Enhanced Processor. New Sounds and Effects

NTS-1 mkII is an extremely powerful, flexible and fun synth to explore. While retaining the versatility of its predecessor, this new version adds a host of new sounds, including new oscillator types and modulation possibilities; you can even use the input signal in the Audio IN as a modulation source to create FM, AM or RING sounds.

NTS-1 mkII is also an expandable FX unit, with many new Modulation (distortion, fuzz...), Delay (tape, BPM-synchronized) and Reverb effects, as well as useful oscillator OFF and filter THRU functions.

Expanded connectivity in the NTS-1 MKII

In addition to SYNC IN/OUT and MIDI IN, Korg has added a new MIDI OUT port for expanded connectivity and performance possibilities with other external equipment. In addition, most parameters on the NTS-1 mkII have been made compatible with MIDI CC (Control Change messages) for easier control, even from external DAWs or sequencers. Power supply via USB-C is an additional plus point and will be of extreme convenience in any situation, as you can plug it in via standard chargers or power it from power banks.

Korg Nutekt NTS-1 mkII retains the Do-It-Yourself kit format of the original and offers new customization options with reversible side panels in anodized silver and metallic black.
