Radial Engineering Voco-Loco Mk2

Radial Voco Loco Mk2 is an effects controller that allows guitar pedals to be used with any microphone signal: vocals, harmonica, sax, and other acoustic instruments. The microphone connects directly to the unit, which integrates a preamplifier, a two-band EQ, and an effects loop with independent Send/Receive. It also features Tone for timbre control and Mix that balances the original signal with the processed signal. The unit also offers Ground Lift, phase inversion, 48V phantom power for condenser or active DI microphones, and supports power supplies from 9 to 18V, for maximum versatility in studio, live or mobile setups.

The microphone connects directly to the unit via XLR and is driven by a high-quality preamplifier with two-band EQ, Ground Lift functions, and phase control, useful for eliminating hum, ground loops, and other noise typical of complex setups.

The signal is then sent to the effects loop via a classic send/return with ¼ Jack, with independent Send and Receive adjustments to optimize the input level to the pedals and prevent unwanted distortion. Tone, Dry/Wet and Mix controls offer extensive tone management: from simple softening of the brightest frequencies to precise balancing between original and processed sound, ensuring a consistently musical and controlled result.

Rounding out the equipment, Voco Loco Mk2 provides 48V phantom power for condenser or active DI microphones and is compatible with power supplies from 9 to 18V, in addition to the one included.
