The AC1826 model is a compact full-range loudspeaker, designed to deliver maximum bandwidth and high SPL in a single, unobtrusive enclosure. Its external profile allows for installation very close to walls and ceilings, making it ideal for under-balcony, column, and general wall mounting. The 1-inch compression driver, integrated into a new type of rotatable "Progressive Transition" horn, provides ideal coverage of the listening area at high frequencies. Furthermore, the combination of the two drivers delivers a very smooth high-frequency response, resulting in a very natural reproduction of the vocal range. The AC1826 is also equipped with an 8-inch low-frequency driver featuring Symmetrical Field Geometry technology and a 2.5-inch voice coil, which improves performance by reducing inductance and distortion. The sturdy plywood cabinet is designed to operate in both vertical and horizontal orientations.
