The AM7212/66 is a high-power, lightweight full-range loudspeaker; it is ideal for installations in theaters, auditoriums, places of worship, sports venues, live music venues, and nightclubs. It features the JBL 2262H woofer with a differential drive voice coil and the 2432H compression driver, along with a Progressive Transition Waveguide horn with a 60°x60° dispersion pattern, whose well-defined directivity allows for array configuration. The steep slopes of the passive crossover filters drastically reduce band overlap. The cabinet, finished in JBL Duraflex, is constructed of sturdy birch plywood and heavily reinforced to maximize low-frequency performance.Trapezoidal in shape, it features a front grille lined internally with a special, acoustically transparent foam that provides enhanced protection for the components and gives the speaker a very professional appearance. It is equipped with M10 threaded suspension points.
