The Baby RAM features 2 pairs of stereo, balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs on gold-plated TRS jacks, with Mute, Dim, Mono buttons and a volume knob-all these controls make the Baby RAM an intuitive and very useful tool to work with. Since it is a passive design, you will have no problems with faulty power supplies, as no power supply is required! Baby RAM is built with the latest methods in manufacturing and design, without ever compromising audio quality. The 73EQ JR is a complete line input module for the 500 series. Not only does it share the 3-band equalizer with its big brother, the Heritage Audio 1073, but it also shares the same transformer-coupled line preamplifier and Class A transformer-balanced output stage. These features make the 73EQ JR unique in its class, capable of capturing a fully transformer-based Class A sound without relying on external preamplifiers. The equalizer features the same Baxandall-type high and low shelf found in the HA1073, with the addition of a high-frequency switch. Four different frequencies are possible instead of the fixed 12Khz frequency. The midband is exactly the same with dual inductors, with a full-bodied and smooth mid-bass and treble boost without becoming muddy or brittle. The line preamp has a range of +6 to -20dB, allowing heavy EQ boosts without overloading the A/D converters. Finally, special attention has been paid to power management, implementing an internal +24 V slow turn-on regulation (about 20 seconds to reach maximum voltage). This makes your 73EQ JR independent of the rest of the slots and makes your lunchbox power supply happier.
