HK Audio Linear 5 MKII 115 FA is multifunctional compact two-way active loudspeaker, easy to transport for outstanding performance even in tight spaces. Featuring a 15 LF driver and 1 tweeter, the powerful 1200W amplifier includes a DSP with built-in equalizer, controllable through DSP Control. All cabinets in the Linear 5 line are made of plywood and MDF. This fullrange version is ideal for stacked placement or as a fixed installation speaker.

Linear 5 MKII enters the world of DSP

Full control over sound output, even during sound check or show, is a feature already well known in large touring systems or the LINEAR 7 and LINEAR 9 series. The DSP CONTROL application allows remote control of all LINEAR 5 components, from stage monitors to complete PA systems, via the network and HK Audio's proprietary DSP CONTROL software for Mac and PC. Powerful DSP features such as volume, EQ, limiting, delay, and polarity can then be accessed directly from the FoH location at any time.

Speakers that do not have their own DSP technology can do so thanks to the controlled DSP OUT found in all LINEAR 5 series speakers.

A 10-band semi-parametric equalizer, high-pass filter, low-pass filter, delay, polarity and limiting are available for each DSP output, regardless of the LINEAR 5's DSP configuration.

The Cabinet of HK Audio Linear 5 MKII 115 FA

The acoustic characteristics and stability of wood are unrivaled in loudspeaker construction. It is for these reasons that all LINEAR 5 components are integrated into wooden cabinets. Thanks to the combination of MDF and birch plywood, the mid/high units and subwoofers are extremely compact and relatively light, despite the sturdy material. The LINEAR 5 MK II 118 Sub A is made entirely of birch plywood.

Each individual speaker is made in Germany using a combination of high-precision, computer-controlled manufacturing and craftsmanship, with toxin-free wood, water-based lacquering, and a rigorous recycling and waste prevention strategy.

Multigrips Handles

Integrated MultiGrips handles make speaker handling a breeze and provide even greater safety in any situation. They also allow professional lifting hardware to be mounted. TB-45N or TB-45NQ tilt brackets can be mounted directly to MultiGrips handles , making them ideal for professional mounting or installation. LINEAR 5 series models have 3 x M8 mounting points and can be used together with AP-8 attachment points, for example.
