DAP NRG-15SA

 

The DAP NRG-12SA is an active subwoofer with a peak power output of 1000 watts (500 watts RMS continuous). It uses a 12“ woofer with a dual 2.5” voice coil to deliver bass down to 50 hertz (-6 dB). It is powerful enough to comfortably produce up to 120 dB. It features an internal DSP with 4 useful modes for integration with a full-range NRG speaker or a customizable crossover frequency. The internal Class D amplifier features a switch mode power supply to reduce weight and increase efficiency. The internal DSP also provides overload, short circuit, and thermal protection. Two XLR combo jacks accept the audio signal, which is looped to the two XLR outputs to drive a full-range speaker or additional subwoofer.

The sturdy, lightweight plywood enclosure features an M20 threaded insert for mounting a speaker stand. To get the most out of the NRG-12SA, we recommend using it in combination with a full-range speaker from the NRG series.
