Radial Engineering SGI RX Stereo

Radial SGI Stereo RX is a stereo line receiver unit designed to convert balanced signals from the SGI TX Stereo module back into Hi-Z instrumental signals, preserving timbre, dynamics and sound integrity even over distances up to 100 meters via CAT5 cable. Dual independent paths with Class A circuitry and isolated Jensen transformers ensure high sonic performance, making SGI Stereo RX ideal for professional stereo setups, both in the studio and live.

Key Features

  • Active stereo receiver with two independent channels
  • Low-noise ClassA audio circuits
  • Balanced reception over XLR from SGI Stereo TX up to 100 m
  • Instrument outputs ¼ HiZ Left/Right
  • Isolation via Jensen transformers
  • Ground Lift to eliminate ground loops
  • Radial rugged construction for professional use

Radial SGI Stereo RX completes the long-distance stereo transmission system by allowing the balanced signal from SGI TX Stereo to be converted into a HiZ instrument signal ready for input to amplifiers, pedals or outboard systems.

Designed for professional studio and live use, it ensures maximum sonic fidelity even over long distances while preserving the original character of the instrument thanks to ClassA circuitry and Jensen transformer isolation.

Applications

Reception over long distances of stereo signals from SGI TX

Connection to remote amplifiers

Stereo setup for guitar, synth and multiFX systems

Ideal for isolated booths, stage, control room and professional installations

Using SGI RX Stereo in the studio

SGI RX Stereo is the ideal destination operating with amplifiers placed in separate rooms or isolated booths. It receives the balanced signal from the TX module via Cat5 Ethernet cable and returns it as a natural, dynamic HiZ signal ready for amplifiers and outboards, without loss of detail.

Using SGI RX Stereo on stage

In complex live settings, SGI RX Stereo allows amplifiers to be placed in remote areas (backstage, understage, isocab) while still maintaining a stable, quiet, degradation-free connection. It receives balanced signal up to 100 m long and reconverts it locally into instrumental signal.

A solution for complex routing

In articulated systems, SGI Stereo RX enables reliable handling of long stereo chains and advanced configurations, completing the interfacing initiated by the TX module and ensuring a professional, stable and secure signal path.
