HK Audio Polar 8 MKII

Polar 8 MKII is a column speaker system with a 1200W peak class D amplifier, built-in DSP and 3-channel mixer, analog connections and Bluetooth 5.0 TWS. The mid/high frequency section of the column mounts 6 x 2.5 neodymium drivers while the subwoofer has an 8 cone, for a frequency response of (-10dB) 50Hz-20kHz and a peak SPL of 120 dB. On the user interface we find 2 combo jack/XLR inputs with respective volume controls and switches to choose the type of input signal (mic/line); the third channel provides us with a stereo RCA input and the ability to connect a device via Bluetooth.

Precise sound diffusion thanks to Curved Column technology

Integrated inside the column are six 2.5 neodymium midrange speakers, arranged according to the Curved Column configuration developed by HK Audio. This technology ensures extremely uniform sound diffusion, with a wide coverage of 120° horizontally and 45° vertically.

The result is clear, homogeneous and well-distributed sound even in acoustically complex environments or with low ceilings, ensuring excellent voice intelligibility and audio quality at all times, even at close range.

The subwoofer of the Polar 8 MKII

Low-resonance plastic cabinet, reinforced with metal elements, minimizes vibration and ensures precise and controlled low frequencies. The 8 cone greatly reduces the weight of the subwoofer, making the entire system more practical and manageable during transport.

Powerful amplifier and maximum dynamics

The built-in 1,200 W Class D amplifier ensures high power while maintaining low weight and high efficiency. This enables the POLAR 8 MK2 to deliver balanced, dynamic and distortion-free sound even at high volumes.

Contour Control: intelligent sound adjustment

One of the major new features of the POLAR 8 MK2 is the new Contour control, which allows smooth switching between DJ, Music and Voice presets.

Unlike classic fixed presets, this continuous adjustment allows you to tailor the sound more precisely: from maximum clarity for speech to a more powerful and engaging performance for DJ sets and live music. In this way, the system adapts perfectly to every situation and sound preference.

High-resolution DSP for superior audio quality

The built-in 24-bit DSP handles digital signal processing with great precision, delivering detailed, defined and dynamic sound.

The system is also supported by an intelligent multiband limiter, which intervenes only at frequencies that are really close to clipping. This keeps the sound stable, natural and balanced even at maximum volume, avoiding distortion or perceptible compression effects.

Integrated mixer for maximum connection flexibility

HK POLAR 8 MK2 integrates a 3-channel mixer with two mic/line inputs and a Bluetooth channel, all with corresponding volume controls. You can therefore directly connect microphones, musical instruments, DJ consoles or external audio sources without the need for an additional mixer in most applications.

Bluetooth Streaming and True Wireless Stereo

With Bluetooth 5, the system offers a stable, high-quality wireless connection. In addition, through the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) function, two POLAR 8 MK2 systems can be connected in stereo mode completely without cables.

Practical design and easy transportation

In addition to sound performance, the POLAR 8 MK2 is designed to be practical in everyday use. The package includes a bag for the column elements and a protective case for the subwoofer.

The entire system assembles quickly, is easy to transport, and is perfect for mobile applications and temporary installations.
