A modular ecosystem for the modern bass

Darkglass ANAGRAM was created to meet the needs of professional bassists who demand maximum flexibility, operational precision, and audio quality in a single compact platform. More than just a multi-effect, ANAGRAM is a true digital workstation, designed to evolve over time thanks to an upgradeable, expandable system that is open to user-generated content. At the heart of the system is a powerful hexa-core DSP processor capable of handling complex audio processing with extremely low latency (1.31 ms in the basic configuration). Each preset allows the simultaneous use of 12 blocks in series plus 12 in parallel, with a dual-row structure that allows for complex configurations, advanced routing, external inserts, and parallel operation.

Intuitive interface and immediate control

High-brightness 7" touchscreen with gestures for editing and navigation (tap, swipe, drag, long press) Six high-resolution infinite encoders ("Quickpots"), dynamically mapped to the parameters of the selected block Three assignable footswitches, which can be used in combination to navigate between presets, scenes, or banks The interface supports a "Views" and "Modes" structure: Views determine what is displayed (effects chain, assignments, names, bindings), while Modes define what the footswitches do (preset recall, block control, scene management).

NAM, IR, and user content compatibility

ANAGRAM is compatible with NAM (Neural Amp Modeler) models, AIDA-X, and IR cabinets, which can be loaded via the Darkglass Suite application. Content is organized between the user area and factory area, with the ability to export/import presets and assets. NAM loaders offer specific controls (gain, EQ, blend) based on the type of model loaded (amp, preamp, or generic).

Integrated tools for live and studio use

ANAGRAM includes a preset-independent multi-track looper, a chromatic tuner with adjustable pitch (420-460 Hz), a 6-band global EQ with visual RTA, an internal mixer with independent control over six physical outputs, and the ability to link stereo or mute instantly. Routing is fully customizable thanks to Send, Return, and FX Loop blocks.
