Almost three decades after the first version (Quik Lok QL/691), through a functional upgrade Quik Lok has made the QL/791 the ultimate stand for guitarists and bassists: its unique design allows it to fit the profile of any instrument. The neck support has a padded protection that does not affect the finish of the necks and is adjustable to fit the length of the instrument: it can reach in height from 51 to 86 cm. Each of the two lower brackets can be adjusted by rotating it independently so as not to interfere with the instrument's controls, mechanics and connectors; in addition, the two brackets can be adjusted independently in height thanks to two convenient knobs that allow sliding along the two support legs. The stands are covered with a layer of soft rubber that holds the guitar in place without the risk of damaging the bass or guitar's paint. Especially suitable for instruments that have an original body shape such as guitars or basses widely used in genres such as indie, alternative or metal for example. In the upper support part, the two stems are equipped with a convenient pick holder where up to three picks can be accommodated. One of the four rubberized feet on the base has an asymmetrical profile that allows perfect leveling in case of uneven support surfaces. Constructed of solid, high-quality arc-welded steel that provides years of reliability. When not in use the Quik Lok QL/791 can be closed completely minimizing its bulk and making it easy to transport.
