Jbl CPI2000

CPi2000 is a professional-grade processor developed by JBL to provide audio enhancement and volume control for movie theaters. It features DSP processing, room equalization adjustment, volume control, and system fault detection, and can be configured via a custom GUI. The CPi2000 offers four input options: analog input, digital input, asynchronous input, and microphone input. The analog and digital inputs accept audio signals from any cinema server. The asynchronous input receives a stereo line signal from a CD or DVD player for background music playback. The microphone input is suitable for connecting an RTA measurement microphone for room acoustic analysis and correction. The large LCD display on the front panel allows technicians to easily perform a quick check of the system's status. To make adjusting the overall output volume quick and easy, the volume knob is designed to be accessible from the front. It features a 1/3-octave GEQ and is integrated with a list of variable crossover presets to accommodate a wide range of cinema speakers. Designed for use with CROWN cinema amplifiers and JBL cinema speakers, the CPi2000 can detect amplifier or speaker faults and send fault information to a TMS or third-party control system via its RJ45 connector.
