A hybrid cable that combines mains cable and audio or DMX cable. This significantly reduces the amount of cabling required. This is especially important over longer distances. With a characteristic impedance of 110 ohms, the double-shielded signal cable is suitable for transmitting analogue audio signals as well as digital AES/EBU and DMX signals. However, it is important to note the logic of the DMX standard, which is just the opposite of the XLR logic in the audio sector: with DMX, a female connector is provided at the transmitter and a male connector at the receiver! The robust PVC outer jacket houses the fine-stranded mains cable with a cross-section of 3 x 2.5 mm² and the double-shielded signal cable (foil and copper braiding).
