A hybrid cable that combines power, audio and DMX conductors in a single product is the ideal solution. It significantly reduces cabling work – a particular advantage where long distances are involved. With characteristic impedance of 110 Ω, the double-shielded signal conductor is suitable for transmission of analogue audio signals as well as digital AES/EBU and DMX signals. However, the logic of the DMX standard is the precise opposite of audio XLR logic; in DMX, the female connector is on the transmitter side and the male connector is on the receiver. The rugged PVC outer jacket encloses the finely stranded power cable with cross-section of 3 x 2.5 mm² and the double-shielded signal conductor (foil and braided copper shields). They are available with the following connector options: XLR 3p., power CON A, powerCON TRUE1 and earthed plug.
