What is an interchangeable capsule?

All Microflex series microphones use interchangeable capsules (sold separately): to obtain a cardioid, supercardioid, or omnidirectional polar pattern, simply screw the corresponding condenser capsule onto the lavalier.

What if I want a wireless microphone?

The MX185 microphone is a cable microphone with an in-line preamplifier and a 1.2 m cable with a TA4F connector. If you prefer wireless, choose the WL185: it is the same microphone, but without a preamplifier and connects directly to any Shure wireless bodypack.
