Optional accessories are available and can be helpful in shaping the output, like Beam Shapers for widening the beam angle, a Top Hat for preventing people from getting blinded and a barndoor for blocking the light on specific areas. Helix fixtures are ideal for lighting and colouring buildings and other big objects, from punchy colours to smooth pastels and white light. Their manual 180° tilt function is convenient for easily turning the light to your desired position with the option to change direction in the complete opposite angle.

The Helix family consists of two Wash types. The Helix S5000 Q4 has a bright 40 x 10 W output, perfectly suitable for lighting big buildings and objects. Equipped with a 5-section control, dimmer and strobe function, it can create vibrant effects. The Showtec Helix M1100 Q4 Mobile is a battery-powered, 8x 10 W RGBW LED Wash with IP65 rating, suitable for mobile indoor and temporary outdoor applications. Its 10° beam angle can be widened to a 20°, 40°, 15° x 60°, or 90° beam angle by using optionally available dedicated beam shapers. Equipped with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the Helix M1100 Q4 Mobile will operate up to 15 hours without charging. The tilt angle can be manually adjusted over 180° and the unit can be controlled via CRMX (wireless), DMX, Master/Slave, Manual, and Auto mode, and has many built-in programs. The wireless connection uses CRMX and is compatible with older fixtures using W-DMX (G3 or G4).

It has an emergency backup function, which switches the output to 4000 K white at maximum brightness in case the mains power drops. Its delayed output function allows you to program the unit and have it start later, saving precious battery runtime. This can be very helpful when setting up mid-day and having it turn on automatically at night. The Helix M1100 Q4 comes with a 1.5-metre Power Pro True cable, Quick-Lock bracket, and Safety Cable.
