The HotShot 48V is a condenser microphone switch designed for silent operation on stage. It allows a performer to power their vocal microphone and divert it to the stage monitoring system to communicate with other band members or technicians by pressing a foot switch. LED indicators show the active output, and the footswitch itself can be configured for lock or momentary operation. The HotShot 48V was designed specifically to solve problems with switching condenser microphone outputs, but works just as well with dynamic microphones.
