Improved DAW integration

Launchkey supports all popular DAW software out of the box, with seamless and customizable integration for Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, Reason Studios, Reaper, FL Studios, and Ardour. With these software programs, you get a hardware-based workflow that gives you full control over transport functions, timeline navigation, mixing and EQ, clip launching, and effect and instrument parameters. And when you use Ableton Live's Session View or Logic's Live Loops, the 16 drum pads also act as Launchpad-style clip launch buttons, with RGB backlighting that matches what you see on the screen.

More powerful creative tools

The Launchkey Mini 37's creative tools are built into the hardware itself – so they work the same way in your DAW, with hardware synths, or with your mobile devices. Scale modes now let you lock your keyboard to one of 30 different scales, so you can eliminate wrong notes or map everything to the white keys. Fixed Chord mode lets you play a complete chord from a single key, while the new Chord Maps mode takes this further, allowing you to create emotional progressions from the Launchkey pads. And in the latest iteration of our beloved arpeggiator, it's easier than ever to distort and mutate sequences for endless inspiration.

Highly responsive and expressive FSR pads

For finger drumming, Launchkey now features our patented FSR drum pads, which are velocity-sensitive and feature polyphonic aftertouch. Unlike traditional pads, each pad has a unique radial sensor that increases sensitivity and improves consistency for more precise performances. They can also be set to trigger chords or individual notes with polyphonic aftertouch.

New Custom Modes

Launchkey's controls aren't limited by default assignments; just load the free Components software into your browser and configure them to work exactly how you want, with your software or hardware. You can store up to four custom mappings for both the pads and Launchkey's encoders and recall them instantly from the hardware to send selected notes, MIDI CCs, or program changes.

Not just computers with Launchkey MK4

Thanks to the Launchkey Mini 37's 3.5mm minijack MIDI output, it's easy to connect hardware synthesizers via an adapter without the need for a DAW. Together with Components and custom mappings, you can control all the most important features directly from the keyboard. What's more, Launchkey requires no additional drivers, so it's fully compatible with countless apps used to create music on iPhone and iPad – including the free Novation Launchpad app.
