Radial Engineering DiNet Dan-TX2

Radial Engineers' AN-TX2 is a 2-channel analog-to-digital converter that allows any line-level source to be connected to a Dante or AES67-compatible network

Seamless network integration

DiNET DAN-TX2 makes it easy to transmit two channels of high-quality analog audio over a Dante or AES67-compatible network. Several input options are available, with balanced XLR / TRS connectors for professional audio sources, RCA jacks for Line-level consumer devices, and a 3.5 mm Aux input for connecting to laptops, smartphones and tablets. Trim controls and pad switches are included for each channel, with a Link switch that simplifies control of stereo sources. The RJ45 network connection is compatible with Neutrik etherCON connectors to prevent accidental disconnection and protect cable terminations. Redundant power is realized for critical applications using the included external power supply and Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) simultaneously. In addition, the DAN-RX2 can be mounted in a 19" rack using the SA Series rack-mount adapter kit (optional).

DiNET DAN-TX2: APPLICATIONS

Use DAN-TX2 with Consumer devices

Connect CD/DVD players to RCA inputs to easily integrate them into a Dante network. Activate the Link switch when using stereo sources, to control the left and right inputs with the level control and pad on channel 1.

Use DAN-TX2 with mobile devices

A 3.5 mm stereo aux input allows laptops, smartphones, and tablets to be connected to a networked audio system without special software or equipment.

Use DAN-TX2 for balanced professional audio

The balanced XLR / TRS inputs on DAN-TX2 can handle signal levels up to +24dBu. This allows any balanced analog mixer, recorder or audio player to be quickly connected to a Dante network.

  • Connect any line-level source to a Dante network
  • Inputs: XLR, 1/4 TRS, RCA and 3.5 mm
  • Analog to digital conversion: 24 bit / 96kHz
  • Handles signal levels up to + 24 dBu
