HA73X2 Elite is a 2-channel microphone preamplifier, made with the same quality as the renowned Heritage Audio ´73JR and DMA73 models and available at a price that has never been lower. The HA73X2 Elite is the exact equivalent of two HA73 Elites bundled into one piece of hardware. By taking great care in construction with handmade soldering, Heritage Audio manages to ensure a zero-compromise product with an unbeatable price/quality ratio. A combination of mass production and modern technology, it optimizes labor costs in processing (which are higher when construction takes place in Europe) and contains the final price: thus, Heritage Audio produces the most affordable preamplifiers and equalizers in its class. Keeping costs down does not mean giving up components that are critical to achieving a true vintage sound, such as the renowned Carnhill transformers handmade in St.Ives, England. It also features the same JFET DI circuit as the ´73JR, characterized by great sound quality, and a fully discrete Class A high-pass filter. With 80 dB of gain available on mic, line or instrument inputs, the HA73X2 Elite has everything you need to give new life and a vintage feel to your audio material. Other features of HA73X2 Elite are output trim, -20db pad, reverse polarity and +48 V phantom power. The rugged single rack unit is made of British steel and uses an external power supply to work with low noise level. HA73X2 mounts Carnhill transformers on inputs and outputs, high-quality switches and knobs, and, most importantly, is 100 percent built by Heritage Audio.
