The M55 suspended ceiling microphone system is designed for applications where aesthetics, sound quality and ease of installation are essential. Major applications of the ceiling-mountedM55 include audio acquisition of video and presentations or VTC teleconferencing, distance learning, hospital rooms, surveillance and environmental microphones.

The M55 conference microphone can equip interchangeable capsules with cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional and supercardioid cannon coverage patterns. High sensitivity and low noise. Shielded anti RF interference caused by cell phones and mobile devices.

Installation of the M55 suspension microphone requires drilling only a 5/8-inch hole in the ceiling, without the need for additional tools. The M55 mounting hardware makes it easy to adjust the suspension height up to five feet from the ceiling surface without removing the ceiling plates. An optional MCHANGER orientation clip makes it easy to adjust the adjustment after installation. The cable assembly, with a designated locking connector, carefully housed in a watertight junction box. A safety cable provides additional seismic limitation.
