The M40 is a miniaturized condenser microphone designed for professional applications where speech recognition, audio quality and ease of installation are critical. With its fully integrated preamplifier circuitry and high sensitivity, it is ideal for remote sound pickup. Major applications include VTC video conferencing, distance learning, hospital rooms, surveillance and environmental microphones. The M40 provides total immunity against RF interference caused by cell phones and GSM devices. Equipped with a cardioid capsule, the M40 is also available with hypercardioid or shotgun capsules, making it suitable for a wide range of environments. Its point-and-shoot directivity enables precise sound focusing. Linstallation is simple and requires only drilling a 5/8-inch hole in the ceiling, with no additional tools required. The cable assembly features an end-lock connector. For installations requiring plenum rated cables, UL certified metal junction box available.
